Annual Ornament Hunt

Kick off the holiday season early with a fun and festive tradition at the Port of Garibaldi! Starting the week of Thanksgiving, the elves will be hiding ornament tags throughout the Port’s public areas along the waterfront, parks, scenic walkways, and other safe, accessible locations. Tags will never be hidden inside private businesses, on Port docks, or in unsafe areas.

How it works:

  1. Search the Port for hidden ornament tags.
  2. When you find a tag, bring it to the Port office to redeem it for a custom holiday ornament, proudly crafted this year by local vendor Frk'N Creations.

A few tips for everyone:

  • This is a family-friendly activity, perfect for all ages.
  • Please be courteous and take only one tag per family so everyone has a chance to participate.
  • We post updates after tags have been hidden each day—locations are not revealed in advance, so the hunt is full of surprises!
